Many women want to enlarge their breast size.
This aesthetic change is done by implanting a mammary prosthesis
through surgery. There are several types of prosthesis, several
surgical options and different ways in which the prosthesis can
be implanted.
At Van Thienen Clinic we perform this intervention using a surgical
technique, selected after very meticulous studies, that allow
the patient to obtain a highly satisfactory natural result
in a long term, with a severe encapsulation percentage under 2,4%
of the patients. After 12 years of successfully using these techniques
in breast surgery, the results obtained have been exposed in many
conferences of the medical community. Having a prosthesis DOES
NOT interfere with the precocious diagnosis of breast cancer and
DOES NOT interfere with breastfeeding. Prosthesis DO
NOT explode and DO NOT require replacement every ten years.
