technique, which consists in treating the skin separately
from the gland, because these are two very different organs, with
different components and properties. With this technique we can
make the most of the skin's elasticity and it does not require
as many cuts as the traditional technique. On the other hand,
traditional surgeons, by treating the gland and the skin such
as a unit, are bound to end up with the very well known "anchor"
shaped scars.
