This intervention is usually indicated for people who have very big ears or
that they stick out in a handle shaped form from the headīs profile. Itīs
generally implemented in kids between 4 and 14 years old.
The ears reach their total growth approximately at the age of
4 and correcting this problem at an early age, can avoid kids
from suffering due to jokes and mocks from their peers. It is
also possible to effect this surgery in adults,
and it doesnīt carry any risks associated to age.
